Abstract: The purpose of this study is to point out a drawback of the new Courses of Study, and to introduce a way of broadening teachers' horizon.  Recent years, Ministry of education, culture, sports, science and technology (MEXT) is revising policy accepting foreign students. For example, MEXT prepared a guidebook for accepting foreign students, and developed DLA (Dialogic Language Assessment).  In revising the Courses of Study, they attached importance to developing “Global Human Resources”. For all that, it was just not very well informed that Japan had a multicultural society. Therefore, MEXT failed to make use of experience gained in educational practice which is necessary for a multicultural symbiotic society.  Nevertheless, teachers must face the realities of multicultural socialization through their daily pursuits. Japan Women's College of Physical Education (JWCPE) offers teacher certificate renewal courses. I teach a lesson (1 class hour) from the view point of moral education. In my lesson, I introduce 2 animations, focusing processes of reflection by the characters. One is a movie, ‘Soreike! Anpanman Inochi no hoshi no Dolly', and the other is a short story, ‘Thomas and Friends Sticky Toffy Thomas'. The former puts much value on great regret at their faults, and the latter does on making good ones. The difference between the former and the latter is an example of the difference between Japanese culture and English culture. It is important that many children who live in Japan can watch both animations, in the sense, they learn both culture day by day.
