Abstract: This paper focuses on the effects that“Shuai Shou”exercises produces. The results obtained from the research as discussed in the paper may provide some data for consideration in making an exercise program for health. 25 women in good health (of the age range 21.9±0.6) were subjected to perform“Shuai Shou”exercise for five minutes continuously. During the exercise, heart rate was counted and forward bending (anteflexion) ability in cross-legged-squad was measured before and after it. The results obtained from the research were as follows ① Hear trate immediately after the 5-minutes“Shuai Shou”exercise counted 97.8±7.8 bpm. ② Pliability measured before the exercise was 43.5±8.7 cm and 49.5±9.0 cm after it, Indicating an increase after the exercise (p<0.01). The results suggested effectiveness of“Shuai Shou”exercise with its kinetic intensity and stretching effects preparative exercise. High potentiality was indicated as well in its effectiveness in body maintenance.
