Abstract: The purpose of the present report was to observe previous research on middle and old age people's health and fitness, and the program that improve these, and to propose a research that produce people's who can independently improve health and fitness. Previous research showed the following finding on middle and old age people's: 1) periodical exercise have benefit of improvement on health and fitness, 2) walking and strength training is effective on keeping health and fitness level, 3) active life is effective on keeping health and fitness level, 4) program of improvement on health and fitness reduce medical expenditure. Most of those benefits on middle and old age people's health and fitness were for health and fitness support system. However, all people cannot receive these systems. Therefore, it may be necessary to research to produce people's who can independently improve health and fitness. From now, such research will be tackled.
